Not sure if you have caught the show Bath Crashers on the DIY network but it is a decent show. I like the host so that makes the show watchable. Here is a link to some of their bathroom remodeling photos. The first one I do not get. I think the Dyson hand driers are cool in public bathrooms but the last place I want one is in my master bath. All I need is my spouse drying her hands using the Dyson at 2am Bath Crashers Photos

First, an announcement. I realize now how silly it is to title my “Vanity of the Week” posts with the name of the vanity embedded in them. It totally ruins the suspense, and frankly it’s not fun at all, is it? So, from now on, I will title my VOW posts with the date so we can keep these things nice and orderly. Right? Right!
Good, so, onward and upward. I am pleased to present our newest Vanity of the Week!
The first word that comes to mind when I look at this particular floor-standing bathroom vanity is “edgy.” And not “edgy” in the way that Natalie Portman’s role in the recent Arronofsky flick “Black Swan” was edgy (that movie was seriously, seriously edgy by the way). I mean it’s “edgy” in the sense that it prominently features highly dramatic and yet strikingly minimalist angles, or “edges.” Yes, I’m not exactly digging into the creativity box today.
But take a look and see what I mean:
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a month since I last posted something. I wish I could say it’s because I’ve been occupied vacationing in the Bahamas or perhaps catching up on tons of much-needed sleep. But the truth is, we’ve been incredibly busy here! New products, new manufacturers, overhauls of our site and store design – it’s all been such a blur that the month just zoomed by!
It’s that time again! This week’s Vanity of the Week is the elegant… the delightful… the fantastic 63″ Grand Regent!
The Grand Regent is a beautiful double bathroom vanity that offers plenty of functionality to compliment its natural good looks. The vanity is built from strong oak with some reclaimed wood components so it is guaranteed to last a lifetime.
The basin is gorgeous frosted glass with a sea-green hue that perfectly offsets the rich espresso cabinet finish. The countertop mount is convex so the top has a slight curve to it, which is a lovely stylistic touch. Maybe not the most practical feature we’ve ever showcased on a cabinet, but it truly is beautiful… and beauty is the heart of vanity! (badum-cha!)
The vanity is propped up by 4 incredibly sturdy solid oak legs with chrome accent caps, and brushed steel handles adorn every drawer and door. 3 sliding drawers are built into the center console of the vanity, and two double-door cabinets are on either side. All doors and drawers feature our patented Soft-Close system to ensure a smooth, gentle close every time you shut the door. Frosted glass door inserts and charming chrome faucets complete the ensemble.
Like all of our double vanities, the Grand Regent offers plenty of storage space and organizational capability. The 63″ countertop provides plenty of room for both you and your spouse to share while you do your daily hygienic duties. Trust us, this vanity will make your life easier one morning at a time!
For all these reasons and so much more, we are proud to bestow the Grand Regent with our highest honor: it is this week’s Vanity of the Week!
My friend and local San Diegan Wyatt Fisk just wrote a brand new article for his Google Knol collection. It’s called “How to Remove and Old Vanity, and Install a New One: a Comprehensive Guide.” I just wanted to give it a quick shout out; you should definitely take a look if you are interested in remodeling your bathroom with a brand new vanity cabinet.
Also, just a quick reminder to take advantage of our ongoing Spring Savings sale! Great deals on all our vanities, in case you haven’t noticed. I guarantee you’ll like what you see! Check it out on our home page.

This vanity is one of our older models, and one of our very first exclusives from JWH Imports. To this day, we are the only online vanity retailer to carry the Modus vanity. And we couldn’t be happier with it!
The vanity features a simple, modern design that proves the old axiom “a little goes a long way.” Despite its relatively small stature, the Modus packs a powerful decorative punch.
Featuring three separate compartments, the Modus is lightweight and easy to install. It is built from high-grade reclaimed and vulcanized wood composite (mostly oak) to limit cabinet swelling in even the most humid of environments. And the porcelain basins are completely charming, too. Really, what’s not to love about this awesome contemporary vanity?
While the vanity boasts two sinks, it does not feature as much storage space as many of our other vanities do. It only has three sliding drawers in the center console. However, the vanity makes up for the spatial shortcomings of the cabinet with an additional wall-mounted shelving unit, perfect for your toiletries and hygienic products.
The Modus can be yours for $899, and of course, that includes sales tax and we cover the shipping costs. Come in to our San Diego showroom location, and get the Locals-Only discount to make your purchase even more of a steal!
