Ta-Da!

Ta-Da!

The Grand Regent is a beautiful double bathroom vanity that offers plenty of functionality to compliment its natural good looks. The vanity is built from strong oak with some reclaimed wood components so it is guaranteed to last a lifetime.

The basin is gorgeous frosted glass with a sea-green hue that perfectly offsets the rich espresso cabinet finish. The countertop mount is convex so the top has a slight curve to it, which is a lovely stylistic touch. Maybe not the most practical feature we’ve ever showcased on a cabinet, but it truly is beautiful… and beauty is the heart of vanity! (badum-cha!)

The glass top is stunning

The vanity is propped up by 4 incredibly sturdy solid oak legs with chrome accent caps, and brushed steel handles adorn every drawer and door. 3 sliding drawers are built into the center console of the vanity, and two double-door cabinets are on either side. All doors and drawers feature our patented Soft-Close system to ensure a smooth, gentle close every time you shut the door.  Frosted glass door inserts and charming chrome faucets complete the ensemble.

Look at all that bathroom vanity storage!

A Vessel Sink Vanity: Utilitarian and Functional Bathroom Design

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Have you given any thought to remodeling your bathroom, especially ways that do not necessitate tearing up the place? Adding a vessel sink vanity is an easy way to accomplish this. Simply adding a vessel sink vanity can give your bathroom a whole new look that you are sure to love. These vanities are one of the hottest trends in bathroom decor at this point in time. They are a timeless feature to add to your bathroom and they’ll give your bathroom an instant makeover as well.

The Return of Vanity Sink Design

It is often overlooked that double sink vanities, not regular sink vanities, are actually the “traditional” type. They were used in most houses many years ago, but today they are making their triumphant return as more people grow to realize how beautiful they can be in a bathroom. Essentially these bathroom sinks are sinks that either sit on top of counters or on furniture. You’ll find that they are very different from the regular white porcelain sink that so many people have. These sink vanities offer so much to a homeowner that it’s easy to see why they are making a comeback.

The Fusion of Form and Function

To bring the best of functional beauty to your bathroom interior, you can’t go wrong with vanities. These sinks look amazing and give your home a chic and contemporary look. But these features are not all show, they provide a functional purpose as well. A nice vessel sink vanity can also increase your home’s value. If you are going to sell within a couple years or even years down the road, you are going to find that your home will be more valuable and the bathroom sinks will make your home more marketable as well.

Great Designs for a Great Bathroom

You’ll find that your options regarding a new vessel sink vanity are nearly limitless, should you choose to install a new sink vanity in your home. You’ll find options available that will match just about any bathroom decor that you have in place. These vessel vanities come in various colors, shapes, and styles. So, no matter the look you want or your personality, you are sure to find something that you’ll want to put in your own bathroom.

Have Total Control Over Your Bathroom With Customization Options

One of the more desirable qualities of vanities is how easy they are to personalize according to your preferences. If you don’t want to have just another average vanity in your bathroom, they are a great way to go. So many different options are available including the types of materials that you can choose from for your vessel sink vanity. Here’s a look at some of the materials that you can use when choosing your own vessel sink bathroom vanity:

vanity sinks made from Glass – An especially considerable option, it’s easy to see why tempered glass is so popular in modern bathrooms. You’ll find that tempered glass is not that expensive and it’s not too heavy either. They are easy to maintain and the glass option definitely provide you with a clean and contemporary look.

Stone vanity sinks – One of the most popular options in vessel vanities is going with stone for the material. Stone has a definite classic appeal although it can be very heavy, and it is commonly found in either marble, granite, or travertine. You’ll find that stone vanities are quite expensive and they require quite a bit of care as well. However, the look you get with stone vessel sink bathroom vanities is truly amazing.

Getting a great new vessel sink vanity is one of the best ways by far to improve your bathroom remodeling project. You’ll add style and elegance to any bathroom, and you’ll increase your home’s value too. Both of these reasons are enough to merit a new vessel sink vanity.

Antique Bathroom Vanity Cabinets

Monday, July 6th, 2009

There’s something truly majestic about antique bathroom vanity cabinets, something that modern vanities simply cannot replicate. A long time ago, hardwood was the furniture material of choice. This was, of course, long before the proliferation of cheap plastic polymers. This was also long before the widespread adoption of the assembly line system. It was, simply put, a time when skilled artisans crafted their bathroom vanity cabinets entirely by hand, with skill and professionalism and artistry that modern machines can’t quite seem to replicate. And while many craftsmen imitated their works, they never made carbon copies. Because of this, all the bathroom vanity cabinets made during this time were unique, and had distinctive characters and personalities of their own. Because every vanity was different, the owners could take pride in knowing that their bath vanity was a one-of-a-kind work of art that would forever be a symbol of individuality and timeless beauty.  (more…)

Friday, February 3rd, 2012

It’s surprising to know that a number of households in the United States are bereft of a good bath vanity. What’s a vanity? My point exactly. Many people remain unaware of the functions of bathroom cabinets much less think about installing one. Even if some people know what vanities are, they still get left out in renovation projects for the bathroom because some homeowners don’t see a need for them.
