Moving can be an absolute nightmare. There’s so much stuff to box up, so many logistics to deal with, and plenty of unexpected problems that can crop up. It’s an unpleasant process, but there are several tips and tricks that can make the whole process less of a headache.

That’s exactly the case for Carmel and her family as they made their eighth and most recent move to South Carolina. She’s gotten used to the process of moving and has come up with – through lots of trial and error – the best ways to tackle it. She has advice for labeling, what types of materials to use, and which items are better left unpacked.
Post-its, good packing tape, and a tool belt are all items that she recommends investing in. Post-its can be used to label rooms so that movers know where to deliver boxes, good packing tape insures that no boxes break open during the move, and a tool belt maximizes efficiency by putting everything you need within arm’s reach.
