A study by Nielsen surveyed cleaning habits around the world and found that North Americans are more likely to clean with paper towels than anything else. The study showed that in each region of the world different supplies were most used, ranging from brooms and mops to rags and paper towels. While some of this is based on product availability, it also depends on customs, occasions, and geography.
